Healthify (“the app”, “we”) is a weight and nutrition tracker published by ziphoenix. You can contact us at info@ziphoenix.com.
This policy explains what information the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
1Information we collect
Account information
- Your email address and, if you choose, your name, when you sign up with email or with Google.
- A unique account ID created by our sign-in provider.
Information you enter
- Age, sex (optional) and country.
- Height, current weight, goal weight, and each weight you log (with date, time and an optional note).
- Your goal, activity level and daily calorie target.
- The foods you log (name, amount in grams, calories and nutrients, meal and date) and foods you add or correct.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, or payment information. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
2How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To calculate your BMI category, your estimated calorie needs and suggested portions.
- To show your history, charts and progress.
- To keep your data safe and available if you change phones.
3Where your information is stored and who processes it
Your information is stored in your account with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) in a data centre in Mumbai, India. Google acts as our service provider and processes data on our behalf. Google’s terms and privacy practices apply to that processing: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Sign in with Google. If you choose it, Google shares your name and email address with us as part of signing in.
Food lookup (optional). If a food is not in the app’s list and you tap “Look up online”, the app loads a Google Search page and reads the nutrition figure from it. Only the food name you typed is sent, as the search words. Your account, weight and other health information are never included. Google receives the request as it would from any browser and handles it under its own privacy policy. Results from this lookup are marked as unverified estimates.
4Sharing
We do not share your personal information with anyone except the service providers described above, or if the law requires it.
5Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to your stored data is limited by security rules so that only you, signed in to your own account, can read or change it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your device secure.
6How long we keep it and how to delete it
We keep your information until you delete it. At any time, in the app (Profile tab) you can:
- Delete all my data — erases your profile, weights, food log and saved foods. Your login stays.
- Delete my account — erases all of the above and your login.
You can also request deletion on our account deletion page or by emailing info@ziphoenix.com from the address on your account.
7Your choices and rights
You can view and correct most of your information inside the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to withdraw consent. Email info@ziphoenix.com and we will respond.
8Children
Healthify is intended for adults (18 and over) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
